CARTRIDGE OF FILTERS

D: disc cartridge
E: screen cartridge

What This System Does

The Aytok Disc Filtration System removes suspended particles from water using stacked disc filtration technology. It is suitable for irrigation, industrial process water, cooling systems, and pretreatment before reverse osmosis or other water treatment equipment. Designed for reliable filtration, the system helps reduce suspended solids while supporting downstream equipment and improving overall system performance.

How It Works

Water passes through a stack of specially grooved filter discs compressed together inside the filter housing. Particles larger than the selected micron rating are trapped between the discs while clean water continues through the system. When cleaning is required, the cartridge can be removed or backwashed depending on the selected configuration.

FRP Cluster Filter

Multiple Cartridge Housing of different sizes and capacities.

  • Flange in/outlet available
  • Housing Material: FRP
  • Entire set of filter cartridges is removed at one time for cleaning replacement.
  • Working Temperature: 1~35°C

What This System Does

FRP Cluster Filters provide high-capacity cartridge filtration for industrial water treatment systems. The fibre-reinforced plastic housing offers corrosion resistance while accommodating multiple filter cartridges for higher flow rates. These systems are commonly installed as pretreatment before RO plants, process water systems, and industrial filtration applications.

How It Works

Water enters the FRP housing and passes through multiple filter cartridges simultaneously. Suspended particles are retained by the cartridges while filtered water exits through the outlet connection. The cartridge assembly can be removed for cleaning or replacement during scheduled maintenance.

Features

  • FRP housing construction
  • Multiple cartridge configuration
  • Flanged inlet and outlet
  • Corrosion-resistant design
  • Easy cartridge replacement
  • Suitable for industrial flow rates
  • Compact installation

  • Water reuse systems

Stainless Steel Cluster Filter

  • Flange in/outlet available
Housing Material:SS304, or SS316 on request.
  • Entire set of filter cartridges is removed at one time for cleaning replacement.
  • Working Temperature: 1~50°C

What This System Does

Stainless Steel Cluster Filters provide multi-cartridge filtration for demanding industrial applications where corrosion resistance, durability, and hygienic construction are important. Available in SS304 or SS316 construction, these filters are suitable for continuous operation across a wide range of industrial processes.

How It Works

Feedwater enters the stainless steel housing and flows through multiple filter cartridges. Suspended solids are retained while filtered water is delivered to downstream equipment. The complete cartridge assembly can be removed quickly for maintenance and cartridge replacement.

Features

  • SS304 construction
  • SS316 available on request
  • Multiple cartridge design
  • Flanged inlet and outlet

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Disc Filter and a Cluster Filter?

A Disc Filter uses stacked filter discs to capture suspended particles, while a Cluster Filter uses multiple filter cartridges housed within a single vessel. The suitable option depends on the required filtration process, flow rate, and water quality.

Which industries commonly use these filtration systems?

These systems are widely used in irrigation, reverse osmosis pretreatment, manufacturing, food and beverage processing, chemical industries, cooling water systems, commercial buildings, municipal water treatment, and industrial process water applications.

How do I choose the right filtration system?

Selection depends on several factors, including feedwater quality, required micron rating, flow rate, operating pressure, available installation space, and the intended application. Ultratec can recommend a suitable configuration based on your project requirements.

Are different micron ratings available?

Yes. Different filtration grades are available depending on the product type and application, allowing the system to remove suspended particles according to the required filtration level.

Can these filters be used before a Reverse Osmosis system?

Yes. Disc Filters and Cluster Filters are commonly used as pretreatment before Reverse Osmosis systems to reduce suspended solids and help protect downstream equipment from excessive fouling.

Are these systems suitable for continuous industrial operation?

These filtration systems are designed for continuous operation when correctly selected, installed, and maintained according to the application requirements.

What maintenance is required?

Routine maintenance typically includes inspecting the filter housing, cleaning or replacing filter cartridges or disc elements when required, and monitoring system performance to maintain efficient filtration.

Does Ultratec provide installation and technical support in the UAE?

Yes. Ultratec Water Treatment Equipment LLC provides installation support, commissioning assistance, maintenance services, and technical support for filtration systems across Dubai and the UAE.

Can these filtration systems be customised for different projects?

Yes. Depending on the application, systems can be configured with different housing materials, cartridge arrangements, filtration ratings, connection sizes, and installation options.

How can I select the most suitable filtration system for my application?

Our combined FAQ section is more effective for a shared product page because it avoids repetitive content while naturally technical team evaluates your feedwater quality, flow requirements, operating conditions, and treatment objectives before recommending a suitable filtration solution for your project.
