How It Works
Water enters the stainless steel UV chamber and passes around high-output UV lamps enclosed within quartz sleeves. Ultraviolet energy penetrates microorganisms and disrupts their DNA, preventing reproduction without changing the water’s taste, colour, or chemical composition. For reliable operation, pretreatment is recommended to minimise suspended solids and improve UV transmission. Models with an accumulated timer and UV light monitor simplify routine maintenance and performance monitoring.
