How It Works
Water enters the UV chamber after passing through the main water supply connection. As water flows through the stainless-steel chamber, it is exposed to ultraviolet light produced by the UV lamp. The UV energy helps inactivate bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms by affecting their ability to reproduce. The treated water then continues to all household outlets. For optimum performance, water should be free from excessive sediment or turbidity. Pre-filtration may be recommended depending on the feedwater quality.
