The Toray TM820M-400 RO Membrane uses reverse osmosis technology to separate dissolved salts and impurities from high salinity feedwater. Pressurised water passes through the semi-permeable membrane surface, allowing treated water molecules to move through while retaining concentrated dissolved substances. The process produces two streams: permeate water and concentrate water. The permeate is collected as treated water, while the concentrate carries rejected salts and dissolved materials away from the membrane system.
